The Belmont - San Carlos Fire Department is an all risk emergency services provider, which serves the cities of Belmont, San Carlos, Harbor Industrial Area, and areas of unincorporated San Mateo County including Devonshire Canyon and Palomar Park. Our department provides Fire Suppression, First Responder - Paramedic Emergency Medical Response and rescue services for vehicle accidents and other rescue needs. We have a well trained and extremely dedicated team to provide our community protection before, during and after emergencies, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Our department has 42 full-time firefighting personnel staffing 4 fire stations who are devoted to protecting the communities we serve. The department also employs full-time office staff that includes the Fire Chief, Fire Marshal, 2 Fire Prevention Officers, a Disaster Preparedness Officer and administrative staff. We encourage you to call upon us for any of your needs; we are here to serve you.
